Ed and Tina met at Landuit's Lake in September of 1970. They were engaged in 1972 and were married in March of 1974. In 1975, they moved to Carbondale, IL where Ed attended Southern Illinois University.
In 1976, they moved to Champaign-Urbana, where Aaron and Ben were born. While there, Ed went to the University of Illinois and Tina worked at the Carle Foundation Hospital. In 1980, they relocated again, to Riceville, IA. Eventually, they moved to Saudi Arabia, where they lived for four years, before moving to Geneseo, IL.
Ed was born at the hospital in Moline, IL, but the family lived in Green River at the time. Ed graduated from United Township High School in 1971, from Southern Illinois in May 1976 and from the University of Illinois in 1980. He is the President of Dairy Services International.
Tina was born in Geneseo and graduated from Atkinson High School in 1972, where she played saxophone in the band. She is a certified pharmacy technician at Osco Drug and also has her own business as an independent beauty consultant with Mary Kay. In addition, Tina dedicates some of her time to the Geneseo Lioness club. Ed and Tina have two beautiful children, Aaron and Ben.
